She told me that the family is in dire straits because there was no life insurance to help bury her. Could you please announce this to the club. She?s getting me an address for the family, but said any donations could be sent in their name to the funeral home. She has been moved to the LaGrange Funeral home (on the Mallory Taylor property). I received a call and was with the family at her passing. Knew that you would want to know in order to keep them in your prayers. Hopefully, our club can extend an act of kindness and appreciation. At this time arrangements are incomplete, however, I believe that Heady will have the arrangements. |

I will be travelling to Louisville the last days of october, and would be interested in contacting Chiropractors who work on horses, and humans, to see the way they work and be able to have an idea interchange. | Lambert Franklin lambert@oldhamcounty.com 9/24/2009 11:18:34 AM ANNUAL ROTARY CLEANUP DAY AT 'THE GLEN', our adopted nature preserve City Park located at the end of Maple Street in 'The Courts' historic district just east of the Courthouse off KY 146 toward Henry County. When: This Saturday, September 26th, 9:00 AM till Noon Meet: at the little barn at the end of Maple Street What: 1. Pick up trash, put in garbage bags (provided) to be picked up Monday by City Maintenance Dept. 2. Prune away overgrowth, fallen limbs, dead wood, etc., put in piles along trails 3. Clear around barn, perimiter property lines, and edge of pond, as needed 4. Go to Hometown Pizza for lunch! Bring: Pruning Shears, Weedeaters, Chain Saws, Gloves, Boots (grass will be wet) Trash Picker-Uppers, Children needing to get away from video games Fran will bring maps of The Glen, trash bags, drinking water & ice. We'll reschedule if it is raining. Join us if you can; it's a nice break from our normal routines, and a chance to show LaGrange how much we care. Thanks. Fran |

Dinner is at 6Pm and tickets are $75/each, a table for 8 is $600 or sponsorship is available for $500 (includes 2 dinner tickets). Money raised will help us restock our food pantry which has fed over 327 families this year alone. |
